Jason Phuc Nguyen

Growing up in the government housing of Miller which is the 14th most disadvantaged area in Sydney, Jason (Phuc) Nguyen is no stranger to the street life. Being the victim of the schoolyard bully, Jason was lead into a life of gangs for refuge and a sense of identity. A drug dealer at 17 years old and set up from his own mates, Jason spiraled out of control on drugs. Things went from bad to worse, hiding his pain behind drug use. Jason cried out to God and came into the Potters House Church and turned his life around. Now married and a father, Jason spends his time serving and leading young people away from gangs and drug abuse.

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.-
